term & universal life insurance

April 3, 2015 -

You may have purchased a 15 year level term policy 14 years ago.  If you did when it renews next year the premium will almost double unless you start making plans now.  Term insurance premiums are as low as they've ever been and many people, including you, may have purchased one in the past few years. The closer the policy gets to the end of the term the more imporant it is to look it over.  There are a raft of options including applying for a new term policy,  considering a permanent policy such as universal life or converting your current policy to a universal life policy.  Depending on how healthy you are converting an existing term policy to a permanent policy might be a viable option.  Any way you slice it you should pull out the old policy and give it a look  and if it doesn't seem to make sense then give me a call.
