Another reason for renter insurance

Most people need a reason to buy insurance because most people believe they'll never have a claim.  The other day I found a good reason to buy renter insurance from an unlikely source - the Bible!  Here's what it said, "But be certain of this, that if the master of the house had had knowledge of the time when the thief was coming, he would have been watching and would not have let his house be broken into."  So here's the deal.  Do you stay at your apartment 24/7?  Of course not.  Or pay a guard to watch over your stuff while your away?  Absurd.  So what happens if someone breaks into your apartment and walks off with your belongings?  You are so out of luck without a renter policy!  The renter policy covers more than just theft.  What if a pipe bursts or a toilet overflows?  Damage caused by water escaping from a plumbing or heating system is insured.  A fire downstairs causes smoke damage to your personal property.  Smoke damage is included in the policy.  For about $12 a month - you can't buy a case of beer for less - you don't have to stay home all day to watch your stuff.  Need some more reasons?  Call me.
